eeRis Sprinkler v.19.4
for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central v.19.x

Stress Test - Execution

The “eeRis Spk Admin” Permission Set is required to run the Stress Test.

WARNING: the Stress Test should not be executed by the user selected as Data Distribution Service User, as changes made by that user will not be detected by Sprinkler

Run the Stress Test using the corresponding action of Stress Test menu:

A dialog will be shown: it is possible to do also a partial test (in this case, at the end of the test the created records have to be deleted manually by the user)

The following description is for the complete execution; please note the images are referring to different partial launches to show a consistent situation of every step

The Insert operation will create 1000 records on 10 distinct sets (one for each shadow session) of 100 records: for each set the first key field “Key 1” is composed by a random prefix (in this image is {0A8#) followed by an incremental integer value from 1 to 100. The second key field “Key 2” is empty; the “No Key 1” field is equal to “Key 1”; the “No Key 2” field is an incremental decimal value from 0.01 to 1.00.

The Modify operation will change the “No Key 1” field adding a “MOD” string suffix. The prefix is different from the previous image as they are different executions and this prefix is randomically generated:

The Rename operation will rename the previously created records (only when the modified “No Key 1” is found) adding an “R” to the first key “Key 1” and setting “Key 2” equal to “Key 1”:

At the end, the Delete operation will delete the previously renamed records. Finally the source table will be empty:

You can also follow the Stress Test execution steps looking to the records created consequently on the following tables: Outbox, Remote Outbox, Remote Inbox e Inbox, or viewing the Stress Test progress on the destination “eeRis Spk Test 2” table with the action “Open Test Destination Table” of Strass Test menu.
