eeRis Sprinkler v.1.1.00
for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 / NAV 2017 / NAV 2018 / Dynamics 365 Business Central on-prem

Data Distribution Setup

You can access Sprinkler Data Distribution Setup in [Departments] [Setup] [IT Setup] [Data Distribution]: in this page you can enable, disable, and configure the Sprinkler Data Distribution system.

Data Distribution Activated – This flag indicates whether the outgoing Data Distribution system is active or not; it is controlled via the two buttons [Start Export] and [Stop Export] in the ribbon; when the flag is on, the data changes made by users are sent to the remote system, while all changes made when the flag is turned off will not be sent.

Inbound Flow Activated – This flag indicates whether the incoming Data Distribution system is active or not; it is controlled via the two buttons [Start Import] and [Stop Import] of the [Actions] menu; when the flag is on, the service is enabled to consider the incoming data.

Data Distribution Service User – This is the user account that is running the dedicated Sprinkler service; this user must have the SUPER role on Microsoft Dynamics NAV database. This field is read-only, the value is set by codeunit [Spk Management] itself. It is suggested that this User will not access directly the NAV database, because all data changes made by this User are ignored by the Data Distribution System in order to prevent ricorsive changes.

Disable eeRis DeliveryLayer – (This field is not used in this release and will be removed).

eeRis DeliveryLayer Status – (This field is not used in this release and will be removed).

Test Enable Loopback – (This field is not used in this release and will be removed).

SQL Transfer Dataset – This value indicates the number of records that will be considered in the data transfers when made by Stored Procedures between linked servers; if this number is too high it is possible that the transfer operations can experience timeouts. To detect errors, and choose wisely this value, see the fine tuning page.

Server ID – This is the GUID Server Identifier. This information is used by the slave NAV database to identifying the origin of incoming data. It is also used in the Setup for the definition of flows (to which server send the data or from which server must be imported).

Last DT Modified – This is the datetime of setup last modification, both for incoming and outgoing configurations.
